If you are happy with this product, he will then complete and return your complete and full quality songs to you in approximately one (1) week. As a musician himself, Tim understands the quality required by musicians, and the given example on this page has not only been mixed and mastered by Tim, but also written, performed and produced by him (more examples coming)! Mixing is the process that comes after your songs have been recorded, the individual recorded material (parts) are then manipulated with sequencing software and effects giving it a polished well rounded mix. Mastering is the process of taking the entire mix, and putting some final touches to it, giving it loudness, punch, dynamics and an even more professional sounding mix. Many music mixing and mastering engineers pay by the hour, which means the price you pay for their services can and will at times end up costing a lot more than you originally expected. Our pay structure gives you confidence in knowing that you aren’t paying for an ever expanding service, and that you will not be stuck in any disappointing situation having to stop the mixing and/or mastering process due to growing expenses. Mixing and mastering can often be very time consuming, so why waste thousands and thousands of dollars at a profesional studio while you watch the bill go through the roof, get them to record your material and send it in to us. We will provide you with profesional results at under half the cost. Music Requirements - Files have to be supplied in .wav format or high quality mp3. (190kbps or higher) - Songs can be supplied on a cd/cdrw/dvd/dvdrw or USB drive. - Songs must be sent by mail (Details given upon request). - You may provide us with a download link or a zipped file of your recordings ONLY if it is for a song sample OR one song. - If youd like to hear a sample before investing in my services, a short clip of the finished product can be emailed back or you will be supplied with a download link (at no cost). If you are happy with the result, your mixed and mastered work will be sent in its entirety once your payment has been cleared. Terms and conditions - Turn around time, (approximately) 1 week depending on how many song parts there are and the current work load. - Payments can be made by direct bank deposit, cheque, paypal or money order. (Postage is included) - A song counts as a music file that is less than 12 minutes in length. - If a song sounds like it could be two songs joined together, it’ll count as two songs. - You may provide material or music that youd like a similar mix to. The mixes can be provided more so as a guide to comparing dynamics. Getting the exact same sound of one of your favourite bands is impossible, unless you have used the exact same gear as they have, recording environment, amplifiers, settings and equipment used in the production stages.
